In our opinion, a spica table is a must have. She loved it for meals, relax time, and meals. We were fortunate to acquire one from a family that had finished their spica journey and then I made another one that we took to daycare for them to use. I made a video on showing how I made the one in this picture. (video)
These are game changers too! We reached out to our community and people stepped up with donating used bumbos that they were done with to us to modify. We couldn't stomach buying a new one just to cut it up. We had to use a towel to prop her up a little straighter, but she loved sitting in this to play and relax. We also made a how to video on how we modified ours. (video)
This little high chair works great for spica casts. We had to put a few towels behind her to scoot her closer to the front, but there is nothing in the way of her cast and we were able to slide her right up to the table for meal time. #ad
The bean bag chair was another great option to switch up the sitting positions. We played around with a bunch of different positions and found what she liked best. Definitely recommend a bean bag chair of some kind. #ad
